If you using baxia never buy an anti- heal item such as glowing wand, sea halberd and dominance, it's a waste of money and slot. Also, baxia doesn't need ice queen wand because his 2nd skill has a slow effect already.

This emblem set-up gives a high amount of Spell Vamp, and also aids in wave clear with the help of Concussive Blast.
Baxia dominates most EXP Lane matchups. He is pretty much always ahead in Turtle 1 if the user plays him correctly. Use your 2nd skill sparingly, make sure to not miss as much as possible. It is your only choke point.

We focus on playing hit and run. And target heroes who are weak or don't have support from their friends.

We don't play full tank or full damage, we play stealth and target enemy heroes from behind.
Aim for enemies who can be killed first, provided the enemy doesn't use flicker and doesn't have anyone to support him. and of course you have to help friends. use skill 1 to hit and stun the enemy then use the execution spell to kill when they have little blood.
Ready to open war and support friends, make sure skill 1 first then skill 3 when you want to hit the enemy.

By this phase, you now have the capability to burst most heroes (without Tough Boots) with your 1st skill + Petrify combo. Your sustain also increases dramatically.
The amount of defense this item gives is very good for Baxia. This is considered a major powerspike due to how much tankier Baxia gets after this item is bought and fully stacked.
By this point, Baxia has reached nigh-unbeatable status in 1v1 due to just how much damage his skills deal when the scaling is taken into account.
Good with Angela: Angela gives the speed boost, additional healing and shield, and flexibility that a Baxia desperately needs.
Good with Khaleed: The High Cut Strategy with Khaleed allows Baxia to rotate much faster and have a stronger presence due to how Khaleed essentially neutralizes Baxia's slow wave clear.
Watch out for Masha: Masha is the only hero that Baxia consistently struggles against. However, she is still beatable.
Watch out for Thamuz: Everything about Baxia counters Thamuz. From the anti-heal, to the damage reduction. Thamuz is pretty much rendered useless against a Baxia. Baxia dominates him in both team-fights and 1v1s.
Watch out for Yu Zhong: Yu Zhong is a similar case to Thamuz but has it slightly better due to generally having better micro. Baxia is still a very strong counter to Yu Zhong however.
Watch out for Phoveus: Phoveus just evaporates against a Baxia. His inherent lack of mobility kills him.
Good with Martis: Apart from being helped by his CC skill, Martis can also kill enemies who are dying due to our damage. and martis is thick enough to survive, because baxia hero lacks cc.
Watch out for Wanwan: Because the Baxia we use is not a full tank, it is very beneficial to Wanwan and detrimental to our friends when we are often close to Wanwan because it can activate 3 Wanwan skills.
Watch out for Franco: Because our baxia is not thick and the damage from skill 2 is not felt if it is not assisted with skill 3, then when the baxia is caught it will be a burden, instead of targeting weak enemy heroes we are the ones being targeted.
Watch out for Joy: A hero with high mobility, Baxia will have difficulty targeting.
