Always practice counting her stacks so you can accurately predict when she will release and throw enemies using Skill 2, since proper timing is key to her control potential.
Equipment Description This build focuses on maximizing Zhuxin's Movement Speed, sustain, and continuous damage output. Since Zhuxin can move while casting skills, extra mobility helps her reposition, kite enemies, and maintain pressure during team fights. Rapid Boots provide the highest Movement Speed among all boots and additional HP Regen, giving Zhuxin better sustain together with Common Emblem and Brave Smite. Glowing Wand is very effective because Zhuxin deals continuous damage, allowing her to maximize its burn passive and anti-heal effect consistently while gaining extra Movement Speed. Genius Wand synergizes well with Zhuxin's continuous attacks because it continuously reduces the enemy's Magic Defense, increasing her overall damage output. Ice Queen Wand adds consistent slow effects and bonus Movement Speed, making it easier for Zhuxin to chase enemies, kite opponents, and control positioning during fights. Clock of Destiny provides Mana, HP, and Hybrid Defense, improving Zhuxin's survivability while helping solve her early-game mana problems through Elegant Gem. Wishing Lantern is excellent against high-HP enemies because its Max HP-based damage perfectly matches Zhuxin's Skill 2, making her very effective against tanky heroes.
Sprint is considered the best Battle Spell for Zhuxin because her Ultimate already functions similarly to a Flicker or blink skill. Instead of using another mobility spell, Sprint enhances her movement speed, allowing her to reposition more effectively during fights while continuously dealing damage and applying crowd control effects. During team fights, activating Sprint while using Skill 2 or her Ultimate allows Zhuxin to maintain proper positioning and keep enemies within range more consistently. The additional movement speed also improves her survivability, making it easier for her to kit

The Common Emblem is chosen for Zhuxin because it provides excellent sustain, mobility, and consistency throughout the game. The bonus HP Regen, Mana Regen, and Extra Max HP allow her to stay longer in lane without needing to frequently return to base. Combined with Brave Smite, Zhuxin can recover HP whenever she deals skill damage to enemy heroes, greatly improving her survivability during trades and team fights. Zhuxin is also a mana-dependent hero, especially when using Skill 2 repeatedly. If Skill 2 fails to hit enemies, she cannot maximize her mana regeneration from her passive mechanics
Since Zhuxin is a mana-dependent hero, having 2 Elegant Gems in the early game gives a significant advantage to her gameplay. The HP and Mana restoration from Elegant Gem greatly improves her sustain, allowing her to stay longer in lane and continuously use her skills without frequently returning to base. These items can later be upgraded into Clock of Destiny and Wishing Lantern, making the build both efficient and cost-effective for Zhuxin throughout the game.
In the mid lane, there are 4 minions in each wave. The best strategy for Zhuxin is to damage the 3 backline minions first. Once their HP becomes low enough, attack the front minion so all 4 minions can be cleared at the same time. Since the allied minions are already focusing on the front minion, damaging the backline first allows Zhuxin to clear waves more efficiently and rotate faster to other lanes or objectives.
Good with Khaleed: Zhuxin and Khaleed work well together in the midlane because both of them are strong in the early game. Zhuxin can control enemies more effectively once her Skill 2 reaches 10 stacks, allowing her to reposition or disrupt them easily. On the other hand, Khaleed can deal strong burst damage early, especially when he uses his skill combo in quick trades. Because of this, when they are paired in mi
Watch out for Yve: Yve can counter Zhuxin because she has better range and stronger space control. Yve can safely poke Zhuxin from a distance while staying out of her reach, making it hard for Zhuxin to fully stack her Skill 2 and engage properly. Her shield and movement speed also help her reposition and avoid being caught while still dealing consistent damage. Since Zhuxin depends on closing the gap to maximize he

combine it with her ult to escape

good damage
focus on bothering the enemy's mage so that they can rotate to the gold lane
Good with Suyou: good combo
Watch out for Melissa: can annoy melissa
Play safe early, control the mid game, and let Zhuxin win the fight for you.
The Arcane Control Build is designed for consistency, scaling, and teamfight dominance. Clock of Destiny is the core item of this setup, providing essential magic power, mana, and survivability that allow Zhuxin to stay active in prolonged fights. It synergizes well with Impure Rage, enabling frequent skill usage and sustained damage throughout the game. Once the core item is secured, Lightning Truncheon and Genius Wand amplify her damage output, while Holy Crystal and Divine Glaive ensure she remains effective against both squishy and tanky enemies in the late game.
Zhuxin | Knowing Hero Ability Guide - Mage
Demon Shoes - For Mana Regen. Elegant Gem - Decent additional Mana + HP regen for early stages. Sky Piercer - Build this after Elegant Gem, stacking this item early in the game, makes the hero monster even in late game. This is the source of damage and secure kills. Zhuxin can solo kill if used the passive correctly together with this item.
Sprint - Use this as main spell for this hero, it compliments with her 2nd skill together with her passive. It makes enemy unable to outrun and delivers a good CC towards them. Flicker - Use this as secondary spell for this hero. If opponent choses an instant chase hero against this hero, Flicker could be a good use to change the tide of the battle. Good use against Hayabusa, Gusion, or even Fanny
Talents: #811, #821, #131
As her mana easy to dry out, use this emblem set to take fights longer. Agility - Additional movement speed would be great as this hero will be used for chasing enemy heroes. Can be changed with Firmness if needed extra defence Pull Yourself Together - Makes Sprint or Flicker usage faster. As the hero will be great use for chase, reducing the cooldown of spell a great choice. Can be changed with Bargain Hunter to buy items early. Impure Rage - This is one of the source of Zhuxin's mana. Together with her passive and Clock of Destiny, using Impure Rage makes the second skill usage longer and
Clear Mid Lane. The most fundamental for mage in Mid Lane. Bonus if the Roam clears with you. Rotation: - After clearing Mid Lane (Should be Level 2 at this rate) - Before going to other lane after clearing, make sure the lane you're visiting is having an enemy playing aggressive towards that lane. Gold Lane - If enemy is aggressive on Gold Lane, this is a perfect execution to visit Gold Lane after clearing. Make sure the Gold can fight and after going to Gold Lane, it makes enemy to consume either its Spell or Abilities to get out of battle. It helps the Gold Laner to clear its necessary objectives (Minions and/or Gold Crab). Best if the opponent has been taken down. Exp Lane - If enemy Gold Lane plays safe, it is unecessary to visit Gold Lane as you can potentially steal gold and exp for your Gold Lane and make its lane in favor on enemy. Visit Exp Lane instead, this also makes the enemy Jungler, Roam, and Mid Laner visit Exp Lane which will give your Gold Lane a breather before
For all kinds of Zhuxin mains that want an easy build to follow!
The demon boots improve zhuxin's resilience when it comes to mana consumption, the clock of destiny provides mana, health and overall sustain! The genius wand reduces the enemy's magic defense allowing Zhuxin to deal more damage the longer her lantern is on the enemy. The sky piercer allows you to finish off low health enemies and steal some sneaky kills from your teammates along the way ;). The holy crystal offers magic power depending on Zhuxin's level; the higher the level, the more the magic damage! The wishing lantern is Zhuxin's signature weapon, the longer you continuously dish out damage, the more damage you will actually deal overall. It also gives a huge boost of mana as a plus!
This battle spell fixes her lack of mobility some times and provides chances for escapes and outplays.
Talents: #611, #621, #131
I chose this emblem set, because it provides fast recovery of skill cooldown and tons of mana when u hit enemy heroes!
Good with Carmilla: Carmilla's ultimate allows Zhuxin's passive to lift all enemies linked with Carmilla's ultimate.
Watch out for Novaria: Novaria lacks in AOE whereas that is Zhuxin's core strength.

For Zhuxin, Flicker is the most reliable and recommended battle spell, as it greatly improves her survivability and positioning in fights. Flicker allows Zhuxin to quickly reposition during teamfights, escape assassins, or adjust her angle to safely deal damage from the backline. Since Zhuxin lacks strong mobility skills, Flicker helps compensate for this weakness and enables safer rotations and objective control.
Talents: #811, #1221, #131
The recommended Mage Emblem focuses on mobility, damage consistency, and mana sustain. In the first tier, take Agility to gain extra movement speed for faster rotations and safer positioning. For the second tier, choose Weapons Master, which increases the effectiveness of magic power gained from items and enhances Zhuxin's scaling into the mid and late game. As the core talent, Impure Rage is the best choice, as it provides additional damage based on the enemy's current HP while restoring mana, allowing Zhuxin to continuously pressure enemies during lane phase and extended teamfights.
Zhuxin plays the early game by focusing on safe wave clear, poke damage, and map awareness rather than forcing risky fights. Her goal is to maintain lane control, harass the enemy mid laner, and rotate efficiently to assist side lanes when opportunities arise. While her damage is respectable early on, Zhuxin should prioritize positioning and resource management, avoiding unnecessary deaths until her core item is completed. Smart rotations and steady pressure during this phase help set up her strong mid-game power spike.
Zhuxin reaches her strongest impact during the mid game, once her core item is completed and teamfights start to break out around objectives. At this stage, she has enough magic power and cooldown access to consistently pressure enemies, control key areas, and punish poor positioning. Zhuxin excels in skirmishes around Turtle, towers, and early Lord fights, where her sustained damage and zoning force enemies to either disengage or take heavy losses. While she remains effective in the late game, the mid game is where she dictates the tempo and gives her team the biggest advantage.
In the late game, Zhuxin transitions into a backline controller whose main role is to deal consistent damage while maintaining safe positioning. At this stage, enemies are more durable and teamfights are more punishing, making proper spacing and timing crucial. Zhuxin excels when she stays protected behind her frontline, continuously applying pressure and zoning enemies during Lord fights and base defenses. While she is no longer the sole damage dealer, her sustained magic damage and area control remain vital in deciding late-game engagements.
Good with Tigreal: Tigreal provides excellent synergy through strong crowd control and reliable initiation. His ability to group enemies allows Zhuxin to deal maximum damage safely, making teamfights heavily favor their side. This is one of the best possible pairings for her.
Good with Atlas: Atlas offers powerful engage and lockdown, perfectly setting up Zhuxin's damage. His ultimate creates ideal conditions for her to control fights and punish grouped enemies. Together, they dominate objective fights like Turtle and Lord.
Good with Khufra: Khufra excels at disrupting mobile heroes that threaten Zhuxin. His crowd control and anti-dash mechanics protect her from assassins and give her space to deal damage. Slightly less reliable than Tigreal or Atlas, but still a strong synergy.
Good with Estes: Estes greatly improves Zhuxin's survivability by keeping her healthy during extended fights. This synergy shines in slower, teamfight-oriented games where Zhuxin can continuously apply damage while being sustained.
Good with Rafaela: Rafaela provides movement speed and healing, helping Zhuxin reposition and survive poke damage. While not as impactful as hard-engage tanks, she offers consistent support that works well in coordinated and poke-heavy compositions.
Watch out for Ling: Ling is one of the hardest counters to Zhuxin due to his extreme mobility and ability to bypass the frontline entirely. He can easily reach the backline, burst Zhuxin down, and disengage before she can respond. Without proper peel or Flicker timing, Zhuxin is very vulnerable against a good Ling player.
Watch out for Lancelot: Lancelot's invincibility frames and high burst make him a major threat. He can dodge Zhuxin's skills and instantly punish her positioning during mid-game fights. While slightly easier to deal with than Ling due to cooldown windows, a skilled Lancelot can still shut Zhuxin down consistently.
Watch out for Hayabusa: Hayabusa excels at isolating targets, making Zhuxin an ideal victim if she is caught alone. His ultimate forces defensive item usage or Flicker, reducing Zhuxin's impact in teamfights. However, coordinated teams and good vision can lower his effectiveness.
Watch out for Kaja: Kaja is dangerous due to his suppress skill, which can instantly remove Zhuxin from a fight. His threat depends heavily on positioning and timing; if Zhuxin plays safely and stays behind her tank, his impact is manageable. Still, one mistake can be costly.
Good with Fredrinn: Perfect Match if Jungler can tank down incoming damges and deliver Zhuxin's control which makes the clash in team's favor
Good with Carmilla: Clear lanes faster. Could potentially kill Mid laner or Roamer if enemy gets aggressive in Mid Lane
Watch out for Kagura: Watch out for ambush. Kagura is good at bursting, which makes Zhuxin at disadvantage as it possibly can't escape once Kagura combo executed
Watch out for Hayabusa: Can make Hayabusa at disadvantage if correct battle spell and position used. Make sure to stay behind or close to Tank/Fighter if Hayabusa is active.
